Updating and Publication of FRG -2023
The cropping system rather than an individual crop, and the farming system rather than an individual field, should be the focus of attention for fertilizer management. Fertilizer costs could be substantially reduced, and concurrently yields would be considerably increased through fertilizer use following FRG-2024 Sustainability goals demand that adequate strategies are built in to reduce further mining of soil nutrients and that efforts are made to rehabilitate the already degraded soil resources.
